If I remembered it correctly, I don’t think Ford ever offered Xenon option for Ford Focus, neither the headlights comes with projector or halo. Therefore, getting a set of aftermarket headlights became one of the very first to do. However, you are getting a better look in the day, but are you able to see better at night? With HID installed, you will notice the significant difference.
HID Kit is not hard to install, but sometimes it requires custom fitting to install the HID bulb into the headlight housing socket. With the proper tools, you can probably do it in 2 hours. but there are possibilities that you might damage the bulbs. After that, you have to buy the bulb separately and wait for the replacement which can take up to 1-2 weeks.
I will say, buying a set of headlights with HID pre-installed will be your top choice. It will be professionally pre-assembled, live test for a few hours to ensure HID kit’s durability. Once you have received it, you can just install it onto your vehicle and everything will be plug & play.
